Pampas and Feathers, a wedding inspired by the roaring years
In recent years, spouses are increasingly seeking inspiration in their weddings that characterizes them most to make their day truly “WOW”. There are many inspirations from which to start to make a wedding unique, and then what I really like is the personalization and reinterpretation of that chosen style.
In this article, my flower designer “Tommaso Castaldi” of “La Primula Cose Belle” catapulted himself into a 1920s wedding , where cars, cinema and radio were new technologies. Jazz music filled the gramophones of the wealthiest houses, just like this garden of yesteryear.
We are in Ischia and more in detail, in the municipality of Lacco Ameno, in the museum complex of Villa Arbusto in an early summer afternoon, where the bride enters on the notes of “Moon River” played at sax and the gushing water of a fountain.
To seal her path to her husband, an ethereal corridor of white pampas and delphiniums.
To the rhythm of Charleston, the ceremony continues in the luxurious setting of the Albergo della Regina Isabella , a historic hotel in the village of Lacco Ameno, where celebrities from entertainment and then from culture and international national politics , have followed one another to enjoy an environment of suggestive beauty, from the 50s-style rooms to the prestigious Spa to the special traditional and gourmet cuisine.
Returning to the details that recall the inspiration of the chosen wedding, we have a particular Tableau de mariage with an ancient writing desk with feathers and ink that differentiate the different round tables set up, in the charming “Sporting” room of the location, with majestic vases overflowing with white flowers and fluttering White feathers.
And to make everything even more unique, a precious and handcrafted themed place card. The perfect 1920s-style bride with a dress from the designer “ Jenny Packham ” with a soft line model embellished with lace and silk tulle, and a hair accessory, an embellished headband from pearls and rhinestones. A setting that especially characterizes glamorous couples who also seek elegance and refinement in their marriage.
